Chevrolet recently announced they will be bringing back the Chevy Blazer. Per CNET, here are the details:

  1. Based on the GMC Acadia platform, a unibody platform
  2. There will be three (3) trim levels:
  • Blazer (base)
  • RS (sportier)
  • Premium (luxury)
  1. Two (2) engine-levels:
  • 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet torque
  • 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet torque
  1. Transmission will be nine (9) speed
  2. Front and all-wheel drive will be offered
  3. The V6 will have 4,500 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped
  4. Design based on the popular Camaro
  5. Standard sliding rear seats and dual-climate control with panoramic sunroof and hands-free power liftgate as options
  6. 8-inch touch screen with Chevy MyLink paired with 4G LTE, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  7. Will begin selling January 2020
