Chevrolet recently announced they will be bringing back the Chevy Blazer. Per CNET, here are the details:
- Based on the GMC Acadia platform, a unibody platform
- There will be three (3) trim levels:
- Blazer (base)
- RS (sportier)
- Premium (luxury)
- Two (2) engine-levels:
- 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet torque
- 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet torque
- Transmission will be nine (9) speed
- Front and all-wheel drive will be offered
- The V6 will have 4,500 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped
- Design based on the popular Camaro
- Standard sliding rear seats and dual-climate control with panoramic sunroof and hands-free power liftgate as options
- 8-inch touch screen with Chevy MyLink paired with 4G LTE, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Will begin selling January 2020
